I’m Jan, a nurse by trade, but a fashionista at heart. I never thought I would sever ties with corporate healthcare, but the decision to do so came easy when I realized that owning a boutique was in the palm of my hands. Although successful, I knew it was a great time to leave the career I’ve known for 20 plus years and do something I’ve always wanted to do; something fun and not so mentally and physically draining. My love and now business partner, Clint, encouraged me to pursue ownership of Simply Stated. At the time of ownership, I didn’t know anything about owning a boutique. I must confess, I have been “baptized by fire and brimstone.” However, I already feel quite successful in my efforts. I’ve always loved fashion and home décor and learning the retail world has been exhilarating. My associates and I want to provide you with the best shopping experience possible.
